At Rotorua Ngongotaha Rail Trust Park, we have leased the oval area that our Miniature trains drive around, to another Community Group, Dog Sports Rotorua, for Dog obedience and training.This is their new home and we welcome them.
Dog Agility at all different levels are starting a Wednesday evening class , the first being tonight on 24th February. Come and join in.
Dog Sports Thursday evening training is to finish 31st March, the last week of daylight saving.
A new Puppy pre school class has started on Saturdays with a very qualified trainer heading this class.
There are often members of Dog Sports Rotorua there working the dogs around the courses.Refer to Park happenings calendar page on this website.

In July 2010 they ran a very successful Dog agility day of very high standard.Below are a few photos of that day in July 2010.
In April 2011 we welcomed another Community Partner-Rotorua Tractor and Machinery to the Park. They have their own Clubrooms above the Workshop.There will be an update about them shortly so watch this space.If you require more information about this please contact the Chairman, Alan 07 357 5349.

Dog Sports Rotorua are celebrating their 5th Birthday on 17th October with a Funday for Dogs at the oval at our Park

We are soon to have a a new group to the Park to develop and mantain a Community Garden near the roadway entrance to our Park. Watch for an update and News on this in early 2012.
