Rotorua Ngongotaha Rail Trust Park has a small museum with interesting items within it's buildings on site. It is catalogued and items are identified now. Ask to see the Museum.
One interesting item I have spotted is the old Tirau Railway Station sign. I remember that well when the Railcar went through that area.
